The agreement between you and RoomAdda when you use this site or the app.
Last updated 18 August 2026
RoomAdda is a technology platform that helps people find paying-guest (PG) accommodation and helps property owners manage it. We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
We are not the owner or landlord of the properties listed. The accommodation agreement is between you and the property owner. What we provide is discovery, booking, payment handling, and the software the property runs on.
You need a verified mobile number to book. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your device and OTP to yourself.
You must be 18 or older to book accommodation through RoomAdda.
A booking is confirmed only when we have received and verified your payment. A success screen in the app is not confirmation on its own — we confirm from the payment gateway directly.
The token amount, rent, deposit and any maintenance charge are shown before you pay. We do not add charges after the fact.
Rent and deposits are set by the property owner. Where we collect them on the owner's behalf, we pass them on under our agreement with that owner.
Listing information comes from property owners. We verify what we reasonably can, and mark verified properties clearly, but we cannot guarantee every detail.
For privacy, a property's exact name and address are shown once you have a confirmed booking or a booked visit. Before that you see the area and approximate location.
If you find a listing inaccurate, report it and we will investigate.
We are responsible for operating the platform, handling your payments correctly, and protecting your personal data.
We are not responsible for the condition of a property, the conduct of an owner or another resident, or a dispute between you and your owner — though we will help where we can, and our support team is the place to start.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid RoomAdda in the to be confirmed months before the claim.
You may stop using RoomAdda at any time. Notice periods and early-exit terms for a stay are set out in your accommodation agreement with the property.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts other residents at risk. We will tell you why.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at to be confirmed have exclusive jurisdiction.
